Wow, people expect to get some drops even if they're being taught how to do it? Ffs, somebody is wasting time explaining what to do and showing it to them, isn't that enough? >.>
Anyway, I've noticed a decrese in ecto drops. You can still average 3-4 per run with the occasional 8-9, but it's nowhere near the constant 8-12 that it used to be. Happened to my guildies at well.

If you're ok cutting into your profits an Essence of Celerity will work. I'm not aware of another skill you can put in it's place that belongs to either the Assassin or Elementalist classes.

As much as I love this run, I need to start investing in some Phantom Keys.
first runs until today, there was not a single chest in the chaos plains
3 runs today = 4 keys, I decided to sell them all.
Every run after I sold them has had a phantom chest >_>

Ugh.
Does anyone have any RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing advice for getting past the Behemoths with a high success rate? 9/10 runs I did today had spawns that would not let me even get into the Chaos Plains. Whether it was 4 of them body-blocking stairs, or even 3 just clumped up into a ball in the middle of whatever passage I was trying to navigate...
Dash isn't getting me over the traps, or I get body-blocked and rubber-band while I die. I tried Vipers Defense but that didn't do anything. Flame Djinn's Haste is slower than Dash so I'm trying to avoid that. The only viable looking option is Dark Escape to combat the damage taken from traps by reducing it to only 50%.
Which is the best choice? And keep in mind I don't care about the damage from Flame Djinn's Haste because I'm already clearing all enemies in a maximum 4 casts of Lava Font without scattering. So the "but it doubles as a damage-dealing skill" argument is completely irrelevant. I'm looking for survivability, not damage.

9/10 runs is pretty unlucky.
Usually for me about 7/10 runs the behemoths have a little opening that you can run through but sometimes its hard to see. I just use dash right before I go over it and dont even get hit by traps. But yeah when there is 4 of them blocking a part you just gotta /resign
I dont really see why you would even need djinns haste for damage since 3 lava fonts kill mindblades/graspings.

The one run I got through I managed to get 5 ecto, though... I mean it even out how much goddamn money I wasted getting in, but it is down right no fun, and a total game-killer. I don't like wasting 1k to see 5 mins later when I get to Chaos Plains entrance that I can't even do my run.
And most kids cry religiously for FDH because they can't keep an aggro together and monsters scatter, so they need it to kill them.
And typically, I Dash maybe a second before I go over the traps, but sometimes the space between a Behemoth and the wall is too small and I get caught for an instant, but it sets off the trap and I get knocked to about 1/10 health. If I'm lucky, bleeding won't kill me.

Having the same issues today, getting killed often by those behemoths and their traps. I even asked a few other people and they were having the same issue all day. Really does put out a mood killer on the whole thing.

I had the same problems with spawns and traps, but once you get the hang of getting over the traps and get a few good spawns, it really feels good to see a couple of ectos drop and know that you've made money. Seriously, one run to chaos planes makes more money than the 10 fails before hand.

Oh yeah. Considering because of shit Behemoth spawns I rarely even make it to Chaos Plains, I've become uber-leet-hax0r at clearing first room (Aatxes too) in 2-3 mins. And about the same for the Chamber, maybe 3-4 mins after Terrorwebs. (Clear all <10 mins.)
Letting SF drop once to get <100 health and not having monsters scatter is the ultimate win. Just carry a vampiric +5e weapon to counter natural health regen if there are less than 2 spell-casters around (spell-casting kills health regen even through SF).

Consider getting a +60 staff or similar combo. And if you get hit by the traps but still make it across, like with [Dark Escape] you can switch to that one and the extra health will most likely keep you alive.

i havent had many problems getting past the benemoths. 9/10 spawns are good. Sometimes i have a bad spawn but still can manage to get pass them.
I'm getting lots of Gloom shields (sold 50+ gloom unid shields to a guildie of my in less than 2-3 days). And also many dyes (had 8 different colors on 1 single run , nothing good though ).
UW is good for Iron, Dust, Wood and Granite slabs (also some steel) if you salvage the white and blue weapons. Getting 1 full stack iron and dust every 2 full runs i do. In my last 2 weeks of farming i got 100+ UW scrolls (dont use them though). Sometimes up to 4 a run.

I always just trigger all the trap first, interupt the next traps being cast and then try vipers defence>autorun. This usually gets me over the behemots in about 1-5 attempts. The only problem is that the charged blacknessses might have made it to block your path, but you can simlply lure them at the hill on the right side, then go back to the top, run to the left side while the blacknesses are at the top and you can run in the chaos planes.
Drops are probably getting worse, but maybe we are just expecting too much?
